MANILA, June 7 — The Department of Justice (DOJ) is set to launch its Frontline Services Center on the 120th Founding Anniversary celebration of the agency on September 25-29, 2017.

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said the Frontline Services Center is located at the DOJ Main office grounds with 15 transaction windows to allow the public immediate access to the following DOJ offices:

National Prosecution Service Docket; Board of Claims; Witness Protection Program; Internal Affairs Unit; Releasing of Request with DOJ, that has two transaction windows and manned by National Prosecution Service; Records; Legal Staff, which has two transaction windows; Personnel; Finance; Office of the Secretary Docket; Cashier and Personnel.

“Justice and ready access to it is a service that the public should be assisted in getting easy access to. That is the goal which we hope to accomplish with the opening of our DOJ frontline services center. I have tasked our DOJ personnel assigned to man the center to be courteous and helpful to anyone who will seek the assistance of the DOJ particularly for the lost, the last and the least of our society,” Aguirre said.

The Frontline Services Center has trial run on Tuesday.

“We hope that with the soft opening of our DOJ Frontline Services Center, our services will be more accessible to the public as we endeavor to serve more of our countrymen. Since it is still in the soft opening stages, it is trial and error. We hope to fine tune our operations in time for the formal blessing and launching of the DOJ Frontline Services Center during our DOJ@120 Founding Anniversary Celebrations,” Aguirre noted.
