DOJ to monitor LGUs for ECQ guideline compliance

The Department of Justice (DOJ) expressed compliance with President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive to monitor local government units (LGUs) in following the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).

“I have instructed all state, regional, provincial, and city prosecutors to monitor and report to the DOJ any acts or omissions on the part of local government officials that are in contravention of or are inconsistent with the national guidelines set by the IATF,” Justice Sec.
