DOJ welcomes 8 new prosecutors

MANILA — President Rodrigo Duterte has named eight new prosecutors to various positions in the National Prosecution Service (NPS).

Justice Undersecretary Markk Perete said appointments were released for the following:

1) Joanna R. Arellano – Prosecutor I (Associate City Prosecutor) – Batangas City

2) Lady Jane G. Batisan – Prosecutor II (Assistant Provincial Prosecutor) – Nueva Ecija

3) Crispulo B. Abayon III – Prosecutor II (Assistant Ciy Prosecutor) – Sta. Rosa City

4) Romulo T. Maristaza Jr. – Prosecutor II (Assistant City Prosecutor) – Sta. Rosa City

5) Jocelyn N. Santiago – Prosecutor II (Assistant Provincial Prosecutor) – Cavite

6) Johnny D. Caguiat – Prosecutor I (Associate City Prosecutor) – Sta. Rosa City

7) Ricardo Y. Atanacio Jr. – Prosecutor II (Assistant Provincial Prosecutor) – Nueva Ecija

8) Jessie A. Cruz Jr. – Prosecutor I (Associate City Prosecutor) – Sta. Rosa City

“More appointments are expected to be made to fill up vacancies in the NPS,” Perete said.
