DOLE: No deployment ban in Hong Kong

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) clarified that there is no deployment ban or mandatory repatriation for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Hong Kong. According to Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, the Department of Foreign Affairs has not given any information on the possibility of repatriation nor are there Filipinos who expressed interest to return to the Philippines. The DOLE is in constant coordination with the DFA on the latest developments in Hong kong.
