DOLE to offer over 70-K jobs on Labor Day

An initial 73,779 job vacancies are up for grabs in the face-to-face job fairs to be conducted across the country in celebration of Labor Day, May 1.

The nationwide job fair will be participated by 808 employers in 42 job fairs organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

The main job fair site will be installed on April 30 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, where over 12,000 jobs will be offered by 125 employers.

DOLE said among the top industries are business process outsourcing, manufacturing, financial and insurance activities, manpower services, and sales marketing.

Meanwhile, the top vacancies are for customer service representatives, production workers/operators, financial consultants, service crew, and sales clerks. -ag
