DOT: 99% of tourism sector in NCR already vaccinated

The Department of Tourism (DOT) on Thursday (Sept. 30) said the tourism sector in the National Capital Region is now 99% vaccinated.

‘Yung mga hindi nagpabakuna ay ‘yung either buntis or may health reasons, pero work from home sila,” DOT Sec. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said during the Laging Handa public briefing.

Meanwhile, in the entire Philippines, 53% of the tourism sector have been vaccinated.

Some areas that have reached 100% vaccination are Baguio and Coron, while Cebu has vaccinated 50% and Bohol, 70%.

We are actively vaccinating lahat ng tourism workers,” Puyat said. – PG-rir
