DOTr Chief orders all heads of attached agencies to submit SALN


Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade has ordered all of the heads of attached agencies and other transport officials of the department to submit their Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) in support of the mandate of President Rodrigo R. Duterte to fight corruption in government.

Sec. Tugade has also assigned a point person and group to focus on the matter and strictly review the documents.

“Sweeping reforms to ensure transparency and accountability of processes, most especially in procurement” have already been introduced in the agency since the transport chief assumed office in 2016. – PTV News
