DOTr: Structural works for the PNR Clark 1 Balagtas station complete

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Philippine National Railways (PNR) announced on their social media pages that the structural work for the PNR Clark 1 Balagtas station has been completed.

PNR Clark 1 (Tutuban-Malolos) is the first segment of the North South Commuter Railways (NSCR).

The segment 1 will traverse the cities of Manila, Caloocan, and Valenzuela as well as the municipalities of Meycauayan, Marilao, Bocaue, Balagtas, Guiguinto, and Malolos City, all in Bulacan.

When finished, the PNR Clark 1 will help commuters save time from Tutuban, Manila to Malolos, Bulacan from the current 1 hour and 30 minutes to just 30 minutes.

This NSCR infrastructure project is under the ‘Build, Build, Build’ program of the Duterte Administration. 

Within the remaining 70 days of the Duterte administration, the DOTr said it will continue to deliver on its mandate of providing a more comfortable and convenient life for Filipinos through enhanced connectivity and mobility across regions.  – ag
