DOTr to close Commonwealth Ave. lanes for MRT-7 steel construction

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on Monday, June 19, the temporary closure of lanes along Commonwealth Avenue to give way for the steel structure installation of the Metro Rail Line-7 (MRT-7).

Regalado Station of the MRT-7 will be undergoing a steel construction which will affect lanes between the Regalado Ave. and Fairlane Ave.

The West Bound lane of Commonwealth Ave. will be closed to motorists from July 7 to Nov. 26 from 10:00 a.m. at 5:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Eastbound lane is scheduled to be closed from Aug. 8 to Dec. 6 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

In an advisory, the DOTr advised the public to take different routes instead. – gb
