DPWH conducts weekend road repairs

MANILA — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is scheduled to conduct road repairs in various parts of Metro Manila this weekend.

In an advisory Friday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said road reblockings and repairs will be conducted in the following areas starting 11 p.m. tonight until Monday, July 16:

Southbound:

EDSA from Arayat St. to Ignacio Diaz (4th lane from the sidewalk)
EDSA from Timog Avenue to Kamuning Road (2nd lane from sidewalk)
EDSA infront of Francesca Tower to after Sct. Borromeo (3rd lane from center island)

Northbound:

EDSA Vertis North to Trinoma Mall (2nd lane from sidewalk)
Batasan Road, Commonwealth Ave., to Kalinisan St. (1st lane)
A.H Lacson Ave., near Aragon St.
Congressional Ave., before cor. Jupiter St. (1st lane)
Fairview Ave. from Mindanao Ave. Extn to Jordan Plains Subd. and Jordan Plains Subd. to Mindanao Ave. Extn (3rd lane)

The affected roads will be fully passable to motorists by 5 a.m. of July 16. (MMDA PR/PNA)
