The driver’s license of a motorist in a viral road rage video has been suspended, according to the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II said the agency issued a 90-day preventive suspension on Wilfredo Gonzales’ driver’s license.

However, Mendoza said the right to due process of Gonzales should be respected as part of the legal system.

“But pending the result of the ongoing investigation, the driver’s license of Mr. William Gonzales is temporarily suspended for 90-days unless earlier resolved,” Mendoza added.

Mendoza said Gonzales will be summoned to explain his side on why the LTO should not permanently revoke his driver’s license.  – cf
