Drug den dismantled, 5 arrested in Navotas City search ops

A drug den was dismantled and five (5) drug personalities were arrested during the conduct of a search warrant operation by PDEA RO-NCR in the City of Navotas on August 1, 2019.

Regional Director of PDEA Regional Office – National Capital Region (RO-NCR) Dir. III Joel B Plaza identified the suspects as Roberto De Guzman y Ihapon AKA Obet, 51 years old (subject of search warrant/drug den maintainer); Rey Gilbuena y Ilustrisimo, 44; Richard Antonio y Escano, 27; Ramonito Dumayan y Tarayop, 37 and Renato Gilbuena, 19, who were arrested by joint operatives of PDEA RO-NCR Northern District Office (NDO), PDEA Regional Office IV-B and PNP – Navotas CPS-SDEU at around 09:00 AM in Old Fishport Road, Brgy. NBBN, Navotas City.

Confiscated and seized during the operation were twelve (12) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing more or less 15 grams with a standard drug price of Php 102,000.00 and several pieces of drug paraphernalia.

The arrested suspects will be charged for violation of Section 6 (Maintenance of Drug Den), Section 7 (Visitors of a Drug Den), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) of Article II of the Republic Act 9165 or “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
