Drug suspect nabbed, P340-K ‘shabu’ seized

DUMAGUETE CITY – Anti-illegal drug operatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) units in Negros Oriental have arrested a suspected drug pusher in an entrapment operation Monday night in Barangay Talay here.

A report from the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office (NOPPO) identified the suspect as Ronald Vendiola Patrimonio, a resident of this city.
Patrimonio was arrested around 8 p.m. Monday, during an entrapment through delivery at Barangay Talay.

Operatives confiscated from Patrimonio a big plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing an estimated 50 grams and worth PHP340,000.

The police said Patrimonio is on the watch list of suspected drug personalities.

The joint operating team included personnel from the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, the Dumaguete City Police Station, the PDEA-Negros Oriental, and the Provincial Intelligence Bureau-Special Operations Group.
