The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will conduct a regional convergence orientation with the aim of improving the programs meant for the poor, particularly the street dwellers. Supporting the advocacy are the Department of Health, Department of Education, Philippine National Police and the National Nutrition Council. The DSWD also plans to tap various Non-Governmental Organizations,Local Government Units and National Government Agencies.
