PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has called on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs to take advantage of the agency’s coaching at its Negosyo Center Program.
Maria Socorro Atay, DTI provincial director, on Saturday told the Philippine News Agency the program aims to help MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs start business and be competitive as well as stable.
Atay said the program is being implemented in partnership with experienced and successful local entrepreneurs, who volunteered to provide free coaching to interested MSMEs as part of their corporate social responsibility.
She said the schedule of the coaching program are as follows: human resource management, 9 to 11 a.m. every first Tuesday of the month; financial management, 9 to 11 a.m. every second Tuesday of the month; supply and value chain, 9 to 11 a.m. every third Tuesday of the month; and, operations management, 9 to 11 a.m. every fourth Tuesday of the month.
She said those interested to avail of the coaching at Negosyo Center Program can coordinate with her office to register.
The DTI has opened Negosyo Centers in the different parts of the country to promote “ease of doing business and facilitating access to services for MSMEs within its jurisdiction.” (Hirohito Cadion/PNA)
