DTI seizes unauthorized vapes sold in Manila

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) seized on Monday, June 19, unauthorized vaporized products or vapes sold in some shops in Manila.

This, in accordance with the Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act.

Under the said act, the sale of flavored vapes is strictly prohibited.

The act also covers the sale of vapes with cartoon character and animal designs that entice minors and students.

Some vape shops near schools and amusement parks were ordered closed. -ag
