President Rodrigo Duterte

MANILA — Senator Christopher “Bong” Go on Wednesday said the administration remains committed to delivering continued service for the betterment of all Filipinos amid President Rodrigo Duterte’s record-high satisfaction rating in the latest Social Weather Survey.

The President said he will just do his job. Those who were satisfied with his performance, thank you for supporting President Duterte and his administration. For us, we would just continue to help and serve every Filipino),” he said.

Go said the President is taking criticisms in stride and would continue what he is doing for the development of the country.

For those who are not contented and satisfied with his performance, President Duterte said he would work harder for the nation),” Go added.

Halfway through his term, Duterte’s net satisfaction rating soared to a new record high, with four of five Filipinos saying they are contented with his work.

An SWS survey conducted on June 22-26 found that 80 percent of adult Filipinos are satisfied, 9 percent undecided, and 12 percent dissatisfied with the performance of the country’s first leader from Mindanao.

While the SWS figures sum up to 101 percent, percentage points reflected in surveys do not always add up to 100 percent. It is possible that the percentage would exceed or would be less than 100 percent, especially in rating-type questions, assessment surveys, or multiple questions survey forms.
