Duterte administration to build more Malasakit Centers to help poor Filipinos – SAP Bong Go

In line with the President Duterte’s directive to bring government services closer to the people, Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Christopher “Bong” Go said that more Malasakit Centers, one-stop facilities for the medical and social service needs of indigent patients, will be built around the country.

Go in a radio interview.

Go explained that these centers provide free medicine, health consultations, and other government assistance to Filipinos who cant afford to go to private medial facilities. More importantly, it makes the process easier and more convenient since the responsible agencies area all housed in one location.
