Duterte: I am prepared to lose all diplomatic relationships with all of European Countries now

President Roa Rodrigo Duterte has threatened to expel its ties to Europe after the United Nations and the European Union (EU) expressed their criticisms against the administration’s campaign of war against drugs.

During an interview with Erwin Tulfo on the latest “Sa Totoo Lang” program, the president blasted EU saying, “I am prepared to lose all diplomatic relationships with all of European Countries now. Do not ever ever come to the Philippines, you’re not allowed to enter here now.”

“Pumunta itong mga taga Europe, tinatakot pa ako na idemanda ako at tayo daw Pilipinas ay baka daw matanggal tayo sa United Nations. Sabi ko, tanggapin ko yung hamon ninyo, idemanda mo nga ako at tanggalin ‘nyo ang Pilipinas sa United nations, sige nga,” President Duterte said.

On the other hand, Duterte also threatened the European ambassadors to cut the democratic relationship with Europe.

“Subukan natin at hamunin ko kayo, kayong mga bayan, the countries who will presented in the Europe Union, we can start by cutting diplomatic relations tomorrow. I dare you kung talagang kayo ay matino na bayan. Bakit kayo makipag-deal sa akin tapusin na natin lahat,” Duterte warned.

“Tutal ho sa constitution, the president is the sole organ of foreign policy. Hindi yan congress, hindi yan supreme court and they cannot force me pag sabihin ko ‘tapusin na natin ang relasyon natin’,” he added.

President Duterte stated that he will be glad to sign the resignation letter of the democratic relationship as long as the countries China, Russia, Eastern Europe and ASEAN will stick to the Philippines.

“I will be glad to sign a letter of resignation of our democratic relationship. I will write that letter, sirain natin. ‘Wag na kaming mag-import as long as we have China, Russia at ang Eastern Europe. Bakit kayo lang ba ang marunong kumain? At ang ASEAN countries, we’ll always stick together,” he claimed.

He also mentioned that Secretary Dominguez called him regarding a Great Britain offering money and refused.

“Tumawag si Secretary Dominguez kahapon sabi nya meron ibigay, I will not name the name but if I will maybe you want to know it, Great Britain. Sabi ko, ‘wag mo tanggapin yan sabihin mo sakanila baka ibibili lang ni Duterte ng bala at baril at magpatay ng EKJ sa inyo na yang pera ninyo. I can always go to China and Russia for help and the Eastern countries’,” Duterte explained.

In addition, he remarks that China and Russia can help the country to “open the market in Eastern Europe,” emphasizing that China is willing to help the country any time.

“Will just ask China to… and Europe dito sa Russia to help us open the market in Eastern Europe, yan naman kailangan ko tutal ang China sabi nya ‘san na yung lahat ng gusto mo ipagbili, ipabili mo na.’ China is buying everything from us, anong nandyan sa inyo bilhin namin lahat,” he said.

“Ngayon, ang Europe kasabay ko na si Putin minsan, nagusap kami as a matter of fact yung mga armas na naitulong nila sa atin dumating na. Darating bukas, sasalubungin ko. At ang China dalawang beses na nagtulong sa atin, its almost 10,000 already fire arms or more than. Itong Russia baka iwan yung limang rocket…” he added. | (Justine Ross Cruz – PTV)
