Easterlies affecting PH Wednesday

MANILA — Easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean are affecting various parts of the country, the weather bureau said Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geographical and Astronomical Administration Services (PAGASA) said Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga and Palawan will have cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon will be have moderate to strong winds from the east to northeast with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 25-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16- 25 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-30 degrees Celsius and Metro Davao 25-34 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
