After examining the air particles in Cebu, the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) reported that the air in the province is now safe for humans despite the haze in Indonesia. The haze was caused by the forest fires in Borneo and Sumatra in the first week of September 2019 and the residents were advised to wear face masks.
