Enough food packs ready for Region 1 areas hit by Maring

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 1 has prepared sufficient food packs for residents affected by Severe Tropical Storm Maring.

DSWD Regional Director Marie Gopalan said food and non-food items have been prepositioned for the entire region.

 

She said they are preparing additional 30,000 food packs on top of the more than 22,000 family food packs set for distribution.

Around 1,985 family food packs were prepositioned for Santa Barbara in Pangasinan, 2,000 packs for Lingayen, and 108 for Alaminos.
