QUEZON CITY – Mobile Legend: Bang Bang M3 World Champion Blacklist International will give a part of their tournament earnings to Typhoon Odette victims according to their coach on Sunday, Dec. 19.

During the M3 awarding ceremony in Singapore, head coach Kristoffer “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza said that the team wanted to help those devastated by the typhoon and celebrate by putting a smile on their faces.

“We really want to celebrate especially this holiday, but we are also thinking of our fellow countrymen who are a victim of the typhoon, so as a help for them, a portion of our prize will be donated to them,” he said.

As Typhoon Odette (internationally known as Rai) ravaged Visayas and Mindanao on Dec. 16, it left in its path devastation as it took hundreds of lives, and damaged countless properties.

Countless donation drives have been organized to allow anybody who wishes to help those who have been impacted to do so.

A percentage of the teams’ US$300,000 (around P15 million) earnings will be given to the victims.

Blacklist International crawled its way up to the grand finals match against ONIC PH, after being dropped to the lower bracket by North America’s BloodThirstyKings.

During the all-Filipino grand finals match, they dominated ONIC PH with a clean 4-02 sweep, concluding the teams’ M3 journey as its champion. (PIA-NCR) – bny
