Ex-DOTr chief’s son is new MIAA chief, Palace confirms

Jose Arturo Tugade, the son of former Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade, has been named as the new acting general manager of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).

The appointment by President Ferdinand R. Marcos was confirmed by Office of the Press Secretary Officer-in-Charge Undersecretary Cheloy Garafil on Wednesday, Oct. 26.

Tugade will also serve as chief executive officer, and Board of Directors member of the MIAA.

He will replace Acting General Manager Cesar Chiong.  –ag
