Ex-Pres. Duterte gets ‘very good’ satisfaction rating as term ended

Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has received a “very good” +65 net satisfaction rating as the former leader of the country based on the April 19-27 Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

His latest rating is up by five points from the “very good” +60 in December 2021.

The survey result shared on Wednesday, July 13, showed that 78% of Filipinos were satisfied with his performance, 9% undecided, and 13% dissatisfied.

Duterte’s gross satisfaction is higher by three points from December 2021’s 75%, while undecided stayed at 9% and dissatisfaction fell by two points from 15%.4

“The 5-point rise in President Duterte’s overall net satisfaction rating from December 2021 to April 2022 was due to increases in all areas,” the SWS noted, referring to the “very good” in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and the “excellent” in Mindanao.

Duterte also obtained “very good” ratings in both rural and urban areas, both men and women,  those aged 25 years and older, and in all educational groups. He got an “excellent” rating from the 18-24 age group.  – ag
