Fair weather, isolated rains to prevail across PH

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

Generally fair weather and isolated rains will prevail over the entire country, the weather bureau said Wednesday, June 8.

“There is no weather disturbance that may have a direct effect on the country,” weather forecaster Grace Castañeda of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in their 5 a.m. weather bulletin.

Luzon will have a fair and slim chance of experiencing rains.

However, isolated rains caused by localized thunderstorms are still likely, Castañeda said.

“Be alert and bring protection against,” she added.

The temperature in Tuguegarao could reach 35°C, while that in Metro Manila and Legazpi could rise to 33°C.

The Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, and isolated rains caused by localized thunderstorms.

Mindanao will also experience fair weather with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms.

The temperature in Zamboanga could reach 34°C; in Davao, Cebu, and Tacloban, 33°C; and in Iloilo and Cagayan de Oro, 32°C.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail over the entire archipelago. – gb
