MANILA — Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over most parts of the archipelago due to the easterlies affecting the whole country, the weather bureau said Sunday.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies will affect the Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its latest weather forecast.

It also advised against possible flash floods during thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds will blow all over the country while coastal waters along all areas will be slight to moderate.

The minimum temperature for the day is 24.8°C while the maximum temperature is at 35.2°C, PAGASA said.
