Fair weather seen as easterlies affect PH Thursday

MANILA — Generally fair weather is expected on Thursday as the easterlies or warm winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean continue to affect the country.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy to partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA weather specialist Ariel Rojas said there are no tropical cyclones being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Northern Luzon will have moderate to occasionally strong winds coming from the northeast to east with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 24-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 14-25 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 24-33 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 25-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-31 degrees Celsius and Metro Davao 25-34 degrees Celsius. ( Lily Ramos/PNA)
