Fair weather seen Monday; ITCZ affecting parts of PH

MANILA — A generally fair weather is expected across the country on Monday, the weather bureau said.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA weather forecaster Meno Mendoza said Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 25-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 24-35 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 16-25 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 25-34 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 25-33 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 26-32 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 26-32 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
