A Filipina in New York City punched her attacker in another apparent anti-Asian incident.

In a Twitter post, Consul General of the Republic of the Philippines in New York Elmer Gato, a Filipina health worker punched her attacker after “she spat on her hand and wiped her saliva” on the Filipina.

“A woman picked on the wrong Asian on the N train this morning. She spat on her hand and wiped her saliva on a young Filipino hospital worker seated next to her. She then saw a few stars,” Gato said.

Gato said the Filipina came from a family of boxing legends in the Philippines.

He then called for a stop in Asian hate. – gb
