Filipino Community in Argentina commemorates 121st Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal

BUENOS AIRES – The Philippine Embassy in Buenos Aires, Leaders and members of the Filipino Community in Buenos Aires, hosted a Wreath Laying ceremony to commemorate the 121st Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal at the bust of Dr. Rizal at the Paseo de la Republica de Filipinas in Avenida de los Incas in Buenos Aires.

Chargé d´Affaires, Lolita B. Capco, lauded the Filipinos working overseas for personifying Rizal´s qualities of filial devotion and personal qualities of curiosity and eagerness to learn foreign languages and culture which continue to strengthen Filipino qualities such as being “Makatao, Malasakit, Mapagbigay, Makadiyos at Mapagmahal sa bayan.”
