The old school polo used by late rapper Francis Magalona on their “Bagsakan” music video was sold for P620,000 at an online auction for Parokya ni Edgar guitarist Gab Chee Kee’s medical bills.

Chito Miranda shared on Saturday, March 18, an appreciation message on Facebook, thanking those who joined the bidding for Magalona’s iconic shirt.

Miranda also thanked the Magalonas for raising funds and donating more than P300,000 from their shirt company.

The vocalist said the money raised from the auction of their band’s memorabilia was a huge help for Chee Kee’s medical expenses.

Last January, Miranda announced Chee Kee’s health condition, who is currently battling lymphoma, a kind of cancer that attacks the lymphatic system.

Recently, the band member was discharged after two months in hospital. – gb
