From Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on the April 8 COVID-19 Update Meeting

Some members of the Cabinet met today, April 8, 2021, to discuss the latest update on COVID-19 and related matters.

Below are some of the items discussed.

• The government has been addressing the issue of hazard pay of healthcare workers.

• Two million vaccines are expected to be delivered in April 2021, with 1,500,000 from Sinovac and working on 500,000 from Gamaleya in April/May. 922,898 vaccines have already been administered.

• The application of Debit Credit Payment Method (DCPM) of Health Care Facilities nationwide, which is around P9.7-B, but subject to Board assessment/estimation for NCR Plus affected areas.

• The Inter-Agency Task Force shall meet on Saturday, April 10, 2021, to discuss the quarantine classification of the National Capital Region Plus.
