Galvez says PH vaccine acceptance is ‘growing’

National Task Force against COVID-19 (NTF) Chief Implementer and Vaccine Czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said on Thursday (May 13) that the public’s acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccines is “growing.”

Secretary Galvez stated in President Duterte’s Talk to the People that many local government units (LGUs) called him and Senator Bong Go to ask for additional vaccines.

Galvez said that the LGUs and the private sector are “committed to have a better Christmas this year.” He added that that is their “overall objective.”

Meanwhile, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año assured that the LGUs will be prepared for the rollout of the vaccines especially in the NCR Plus.
