In a move to further elevate corporate governance, the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) has introduced a new category under its annual GCG Awards ceremony─the Leadership Award.
The award is designed to give tribute to outstanding appointive members of GOCC governing boards who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, strategic vision, and governance excellence in their role.
It also recognizes nominees whose exemplary performance, significant contributions, and remarkable accomplishments in public corporate sector have resulted in improvement and enhanced development in the GOCC, its stakeholders, and communities. (PR)
