Gilas falls to Lebanon in tune-up

By Ivan Stewart Saldajeno – PNA News

MANILA — Lebanon completed a 2-0 sweep of its tune-up series with Gilas Pilipinas after a 71-60 victory on Sunday night at the Meralco Gym in Pasig City.

Two nights after surviving a late Gilas run to take a 74-68 win in Quezon City, Lebanon did a better job in stopping Gilas down the stretch, going on an 8-0 run within the last five minutes to pull away for good.

Gilas finished with a 1-3 record in their tune-up action as the team gears up for a two-game home stand in the fifth window of the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers.
