Gov. Yu: Zambo provinces insurgency-free

Insurgency has weakened in the Zamboanga Peninsula as more government programs to address insurgency continue to be implemented. 

 

“All the provinces here in the region have [been] declared insurgency-free. I believe this is a legacy, Mr. President, and a milestone towards peace and development,” Zamboanga del Sur Gov. Victor Yu said in a speech on Dec. 2, 2021. -rir
