Government provided assistance to residents of Barangay Ilomavis, Kidapawan

The Department of Social Welfare and Development–apart from the tents it erected to shelter temporarily the displaced residents of Barangay Ilomavis, Kidapawan, North Cotabato–provided additional financial aid to senior citizens in the amount PHP3,000. The Department of Health, for its part, promised the installation of portalets in evacuation centers in response to the lack of comfort rooms in said places of refuge. Senator Christopher Go, finally, gave relief bags of canned goods and PHP1,000 to 1,188 residents of the barangay.
