Government to fairly implement 10 percent tax on oil products

The government will fairly implement the levy on oil and imported oil products after President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed Executive Order No. 113 that aims to temporarily impose 10 percent tax on imported oil.

Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Alfonso Cusi tasked the Oil Industry Management Bureau to inform oil companies of the executive order. Said tax will increase to Php 1.50 to Php 1.60 per liter due to the EO.
