Government to transport stranded students back to their hometowns

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced that the students stranded due to the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila will be brought back to their hometowns.

In an interview, DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said that the government will transport the students back to their provinces. However, individuals from provinces are not allowed to enter Metro Manila due to the ECQ.

He advised parents to contact the National Housing Authority (NHA) for assistance in locating their stranded children.
