GSIS urges pensioners to do transactions online

By Pearl Gumapos

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on Wednesday (Dec. 22) called on its pensioners to perform their transactions through GSIS’s online applications amid the threat of COVID-19 and the current calamity happening nationwide.

Calida said GSIS will ensure an alternative plan with the help of technology so that pensioners will not have to leave their homes when transacting with the agency.

She added that old-age pensioners may avail of the pensioner’s emergency loan program if they were affected by the pandemic or the calamity.

– bny
