Gunmen kill 7 at Mexican resort

Gunmen stormed a resort in central Mexico on Saturday, killing seven people, including a 7-year-old child.

Another person was wounded in the attack on the La Palma resort in the Cortazar municipality in Guanajuato state, according to officials.

The motive for the attack was not immediately clear.

Drug cartels, however, have been battling in the region. (VOA)
