Being a mother is like wearing many hats at once — from making sure everything at home is in their rightful place to taking care of all the needs of their children. That’s why when sickness is endangering the household, she is ready to take on the mantle of a “wonder mom” and protect the family.

A broadcast journalist, wife, and mother of three kids: Niña Corpuz-Rodriguez juggles life between anchoring duties every day in Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon at PTV and her maternal role as the family’s homemaker.

“Kasi bilang isang ina, gagawin po natin ang lahat para protektahan ang ating pamilya,” Niña said in an interview.

“Kapag nagkasakit ang ating baby, ‘di tayo mapakali, nababalisa kami…parang iiwanan namin ang lahat just to make sure na ang pamilya namin ay safe at ligtas sa anumang illnesses at kapahamakan,” she added.

As a loving wife, a caring mother, and a health advocate, Niña aims to help other moms and their families in taking care of themselves through her new show – Health@Home, every Saturday at 7 a.m.

However, as much as mothers do what is best for their kids, receiving support and assistance from experts would be of great help to them.

In Health@Home, Niña interviews medical professionals, fitness experts, and health advocates to share tips and reliable information to guide the family towards a healthier, happier, and safer lifestyle.

Since the pandemic, health has never been more important and we only wish for good health not only for ourselves but also for the whole family. For moms like Niña, their own struggles and triumphs in raising a family makes them stronger and more than ready for whatever problems life throws at them. – avds
