Higher gasoline, lower diesel, kerosene prices Dec. 3

Oil companies announced adjustments on their pump prices this week, increasing the price of gasoline and reducing the prices of diesel and kerosene.

Starting 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell will hike gasoline prices by 90 centavos and will roll back diesel prices by 20 centavos.

Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will also slash kerosene prices by 40 centavos.

Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.

According to the Department of Energy (DOE), gasoline prices in Metro Manila ranged from P49.75 to P74.35 per liter, diesel from P48.97 to P72.05 per liter, and kerosene from P71.14 to P81.99 per liter.

ā€œYear-to-date, total adjustment of gasoline and diesel stands at a net increase of P10.45 per liter and P9.75 per liter, respectively. On the other hand, kerosene has a total net decrease of P1.50 per liter,ā€ the DOE said.
