36 SK chairpersons, now army reservists

36 Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) leaders in Butuan City completed the Basic Citizen’s Military Training under the supervision of the 15th Regional Community Defense Group Army Reserve Command. The 3-day training aims to hone the leadership and organizational skills of the young village leaders. The program also addresses insurgency in the country. The education made the young leaders aware and stay away from the recruitment of rebels. It is meant to mold them as good examples to their fellow youth, being frontliners of public service.
