Higit 56-K bakuna kontra COVID-19, nasa Cebu na

Dumating na ngayong araw sa Cebu ang 56,400 doses ng CoronaVac na gawa ng Sinovac Biotech para sa pagbabakuna ng buong Region 7.

Mula sa Mactan Cebu International Airport ay kaagad itong dinala sa cold storage facility ng Department of Health (DOH) Region 7. 

“These will be allocated to various areas dito sa atin, sa three highly urbanized cities,” sabi ni DOH-7 Spokesperson Dr. Mary Jean Loreche.

“There will be allocations accordingly. We will wait for our team to do the allocating so this can be distributed,” dagdag ng doktor.

Nauna nang ipinangako ng DOH-7 na magbibigay ito ng 10,000 doses ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 sa Lungsod ng Cebu. Pansamantala kasing itinigil ang pagbabakuna matapos maubusan ng supply ang lungsod.

Dahil dito, nakiusap si Cebu City Mayor Edgar Labella kay vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. para sa karagdagang bakuna, dahil marami aniyang senior citizens na gustong maturukan.
