House committee tackles NCR water crisis

Water concessionaires say that the current water service interruption experienced by consumers lasts until the end of 2019 due to insufficiency of water stock in Angat Dam. Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System attributes the water deficiency in the reservoir to the absence of rains falling in the dam. Mavens on water services say that had the water problems been addressed 10 years ago, there would be an alternative recourse available in the present.

In light of the narrow supply of water in Metro Manila, an organization of water districts offers help to cushion the difficulty experienced in the region, which is escalated by the upcoming Christmas Day.
