HPA affecting northern Luzon Monday

MANILA — A ridge of high pressure area (HPA), generally associated with moderate to strong winds and isolated rains, is affecting northern Luzon.

In its 4 a.m. forecast Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon and Central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds from east to southeast with moderate to strong coastal waters.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 25-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 25-33 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-18 degrees Celsius; Angeles City 25-31 degrees Celsius; Lipa City 24-32 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-32 degrees Celsius and Metro Davao 26-32 degrees Celsius. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
