Magnolia blasts ROS, 92-76

MANILA — Magnolia Hotshots quickly bounced back from its first loss in the PBA Governors’ Cup, dealing Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters a 92-76 rout at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Wednesday night.

The Hotshots went on their patented defense early on, limiting the Elasto Painters to just 27 points in the first half, setting the tone for the blowout win.

Paul Lee and Romeo Travis each made 22 points for Magnolia, which moved up to 3-1.

Nathan Bullock struggled all game long, but he still topscored for Rain Or Shine, now at 0-2, with 15 markers, 10 rebounds, and one assist. (Ivan Stewart Saldajeno /PNA)
