After becoming a tropical depression on Monday, Huaning left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) early on Tuesday as it continued to move north-northeastward towards China.

Meanwhile, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration’s (PAGASA) 4:00 p.m. weather bulletin, a low pressure area (LPA) is being monitored outside PAR, citing that it has a moderate chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

The weather disturbance was last located approximately 1,520 km. east of Eastern Visayas.

The state weather bureau also announced that easterlies would continue to prevail over Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, bringing light to moderate winds and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in these areas.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will be affected by localized thunderstorms.
